1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Trip Planner ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Trip Planner is a product of Havari™ LLC and is an independent service.

2. Description of Service

Trip Planner is a group vacation-planning tool. It helps a group of travelers choose a destination, discover things to do, build a shared itinerary on a map, estimate travel costs (flights, lodging, rental cars, fuel, activities), and split those costs across the group. Access is by invitation within a travel group and protected by a password.

3. User Accounts

The Service uses lightweight accounts and invite links within a travel group. You are responsible for:

Keeping the group password and any invite links private — anyone with them can see the group's plans;
The accuracy of information you enter about yourself;
Only adding travelers who agree to be part of the group.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of everything you put into the Service — trip plans, picks, traveler profiles, photos, notes, and addresses. By entering content you grant the Service permission to store and display it to the other members of your travel group, which is the entire point of a shared planner. Your content is not shared outside your group and is not sold to anyone.

5. Software-Generated Content

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to suggest trip ideas, destinations, and activities. Please note:

Suggestions are generated automatically and may be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong;
Always verify hours, prices, availability, and safety information with the venue or provider before you travel;
AI suggestions are ideas, not travel advice or guarantees.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for anything unlawful;
Attempt to access other groups' plans or data;
Upload content that is abusive, infringing, or harmful;
Probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its data sources;
Resell or scrape the Service or its data.

7. Intellectual Property

The design, code, graphics, and logos of Trip Planner are owned by Havari™ LLC. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Your own content remains yours (see Section 4).

8. Travel Data & Third-Party Services

The Service displays travel information gathered from third parties, including flight, hotel, and rental-car search results, map and routing data (OpenStreetMap and related services), and destination photos and descriptions (Wikipedia). Please understand:

All prices are estimates. Real prices change constantly and are only final on the provider's own site;
The Service does not sell tickets, rooms, or cars — no bookings happen here. Booking links take you to third-party sites (airlines, Booking.com, rental agencies), and anything you purchase there is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy;
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any third-party provider, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or practices.

9. Data Storage & Backups

Trip plans, traveler profiles, and preferences you save are stored on our servers so your group can share them. We take reasonable steps to keep the Service running and its data intact, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that stored data can never be lost.

10. Your Responsibility to Back Up Your Content

Trip Planner is a planning convenience, not a system of record. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — confirmation numbers, tickets, reservations, addresses, and any itinerary you are actively traveling on. If it matters on the day of travel, print it or save it somewhere else too.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of travel data, or uninterrupted operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Havari™ LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including missed flights, incorrect price estimates, closed attractions, bad weather, travel disruptions, or lost plan data. Your travel decisions and purchases are your own.

13. Children's Use

The Service is intended for adults planning group travel. Children may appear as travelers in a group's plans, added by a parent or responsible adult, but should not use the Service themselves without adult supervision.

14. Cookies & Privacy

The Service uses only what it needs to work:

A session cookie so you stay signed in, and a security (CSRF) cookie;
Browser storage on your device for preferences like your home base;
No advertising cookies, no analytics trackers, no data sales — ever.

Destination and pricing lookups necessarily send the searched locations and dates to the third-party data providers described in Section 8; your name and profile are not sent with them.

15. Data Retention

Saved plans and traveler profiles are kept for as long as your group uses the Service so that past trips remain available to the group. Cached third-party data (photos, search results) may be refreshed or discarded at any time.

16. Account & Data Deletion

You can delete any plan you created from within the Service. To remove a traveler profile, your account, or your group's data entirely, contact us (Section 18) and we will delete it.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
